Our First Ever Antibiotics
Well it has finally hit the Chavez household, a sickness serious enough to warrant antibiotics. Neither of my kids has ever had a sickness that requires them so I think that is a pretty good track record for the past 5 years. But little Nina has been diagnosed with a double ear infection and RSV. She is on amoxicillin and regular does of Motrin for the pain. We have to watch closely that she doesn't get any worse, like wheezing or we will have to take further action. This started as a simple cold and Nina was still Nina, happy and active so I didn't really worry about it until last night when she woke up hysterical every 30 minutes. She has probably been pretty sick for a few days but didn't act it at all. She is a child I will have to watch very closely because she is definetely not a complainer (anymore, now that the whole milk thing was solved). So we are starting her medicine and hoping it clears quickly.
