Her face, chest, tummy, and hands were actually tinged red for 2 days after this, even after a bath, apparently I bought nuclear spaghetti sauce.

Sister Love
I found this video while I was uploading videos to the new computer. I had forgotten about Nina's eagle shriek. This makes me smile.

Amelia's Party
OK so first apparently I have no idea how to upload pictures to this post in any kind of order that makes sense. Amelia wanted to have a bounce house for her birthday, so we had it at the YMCA and invited all of the girls from her class. She picked high heel cupcakes this year. They were relatively easy but had lots of steps so it took more time than I thought it would. The party turned out great. The girls all had a great time and Amelia received some very lovely presents (lots of Barbie and fashion stuff, which is perfect for her.)

AmeliaTurns 6
I cannot believe Amelia is already 6 years old. She is an amazing little girl. She has the kindest heart I have ever seen. She is a great big sister. She is so smart, already reading at a 3rd-4th grade level (she is currently reading The Trumpet of the Swan!) She still loves swimming and is looking foward to playing baseball this summer. She is still in the 85the percentile for height and the 35th for weight, tall and skinny as ever. I love this little girl more than words can ever say!
In 6 short years, she went from this...
to this!
Opening a present on her actual birthday
Birthday treat for school. She also thought it was cool that they announce your name over the loudspeaker at school and you get to pick a birthday surprise from the office.
She picked Texas Roadhouse for dinner, steak cooked medium-rare (she won't eat it if it is not pink in the middle.)

Go Fish
Last night was Amelia's school play "Go Fish". It is about a shark who doesn't have any friends. Amelia was chosen to be the head of the eel, which was the only Kindergarten speaking part. She did an amazing job and we couldn't be more proud of here. She remembered all her lines and said them loud and proud, just like we practiced. Video will be coming but the new software isn't on the new computer so that will delay the video a bit. But here are some pictures.
Before the play. She told me the horse looked like electricity, that is why she is holding it.
Amelia is center stage, the first black shirt from the left.
