Last week Amelia's class had a field trip to the Fountain Creek Nature Center. It is such a wonderful place and the kids loved it. Nina slept through most of the hike but she really like the puppet show they put on in the begining.

The girls found a ladybug, which is a huge attraction to little girls.

The guide told the kids a story of how Native Americans put starts in the cottonwood trees. If you break open a twig near a knot, there really is a star "imprinted" in the twig.
